A whole day out in Southsea – within the waterfront City of Portsmouth you’ll find stylish Southsea, a distinctly different shopping experience with a wide range of specialist shops and international cuisines. The Clarence Pier at Southsea is the largest amusement park on the South coast and boasts all manner of amusements, rides and activities for all the family. The Arcades and Pirate Pete’s indoor adventure playground are open all year.  There are also a number of miniature golf courses, natural history museum, butterfly house and aquarium just off Southsea sea front. Towards the eastern end of the seafront is the Royal Marines Museum based in the lavishly decorated former Officers’ Mess of Eastney Barracks built in the 1860′s for the Royal Marine Artillery.
