21st July Full Day Swanage Tour £16

There’s probably not a better time to go to Swanage and the Purbeck countryside, summers at its best and the schools still have a few days to go before breaking up for the summer. Our day will start with a drive down through the New Forest before taking the ferry across the Studland and on to Swanage for lunch and then a leisurely drive back through the Purbeck countryside.

The town’s jewel in the crown is its family friendly beach. Sandy and gently sloping, Swanage has the only beach to consistently achieve European Blue Flag status along the Jurassic Coast; it has also recently been awarded the Encams Tidy Britain Group Seaside Award. Swanage enjoys some of the south coast’s best weather; take the time to enjoy a delicious ice cream as you lie on the golden sand on sunny days and listen to the sea lapping at the shore, or stroll along the promenade.

Other Attractions:

Among the town’s main attractions are Swanage Steam Railway and Durlston Country Park which acts as a gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. There are many family-oriented attractions in easy reach from Swanage, including farm parks such as Farmer Palmers and Putlake Adventure Farm and world famous attractions such as Monkey World and the Tank Museum.

This trips also includes a free raffle ticket.
