September 18th Tuesday – Horse Drawn Boat Trip, Berkshire – Full Day £30

Join Newton’s coaches on a tranquil relaxing 2 hour horse drawn boat trip. The ‘Kennet Valley’ horse drawn barge is a wide beam passenger trip boat, which was purpose built in 1976. She operates from Kintbury on the Kennet and Avon Canal. A part of England’s heritage, Kennet Valley has no engine on board so is powered solely by the towing action of the horse making her a tranquil and environmentally friendly method of transport. We will be stopping for lunch in Newbury prior to the boat trip.

Refreshment breaks are made on longer journeys. Please assist our driver and return promptly to your coach at the time requested.
