Newtons Coaches have been providing services to local schools and colleges for over 30 years. Our services for schools fall into two categories, firstly ongoing contract work providing transport for pupils to/from school and secondly coach and driver hire for school outings and excursions. With that amount of experience, you can be sure that we are able to provide and maintain a safe, responsible and reliable service.
When providing such services the safety of the children is always of the utmost importance. At Newtons we take these responsibilities very seriously, therefore, we wish to draw attention to the following when considering Newtons Coaches for school services.
Vehicles
All of our vehicles are regularly inspected, tested and maintained by our own qualified coach technicians. Our attention to detail in this area has allowed us to achieve an exceptionally high first time pass rate for the Government run annual safety check and MOT test.
Drivers
All our drivers that are considered for school services undergo our own in-house training specific to providing services involving the safe and responsible transport of children, as well as being ‘Train to Gain’ qualified. Subject to stringent criminal reference checks prior to their employment by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau), further checks are carried out on a regular basis to ensure that Newtons Coaches only provide staff suitable for working with children and vulnerable adults.

Our many years of providing services for schools have given us as a company, a great deal of insight and understanding as to how important the smooth running of such services are to parents and teachers alike.
